Tomorrow, the Class of 2026 will walk across the stage and officially become TCS graduates.
Before they do, they reflected on their time at The Children's School, and their answers speak to the heart of a TCS education: belonging, empathy, self-advocacy, friendship, resilience, and the confidence to be fully themselves.
We couldn’t be more proud of the thoughtful, compassionate, and courageous young people they’ve become.

Harry leaves TCS with something that no test can measure: a deep, unshakeable sense of who he is.
"TCS has taught me to not let anyone say that you are less than you really are. I also will carry the knowledge that everyone has their own beliefs and that everyone is unique in their own way."
He'll miss the small classes and tight connections that made TCS feel like home. Congratulations, Harry! We cannot wait to see you shine at Galloway.

What happens after 8th grade at TCS?
Our alumni say they leave The Children’s School academically prepared, confident in who they are, and ready to thrive in new environments. TCS graduates consistently point to the same lasting skills: critical thinking, self-advocacy, collaboration, confidence, and curiosity.
In our newest blog post, TCS alumni reflect on how project-based learning, outdoor education, strong relationships, and a nurturing community prepared them for high school and beyond.

We are so proud to celebrate JaJuan as part of our Class of 2026! JaJuan leaves TCS with a toolkit full of skills, but one stands out above the rest.
"One major thing I learned at TCS that has been very helpful is backwards planning. Since learning this skill, planning for projects and outside-of-school activities has become overall less stressful. The skill has helped me plan out exactly how I'm going to execute things and how much time I should allot for them."
He also leaves with a deep sense of respect for the people around him and some unforgettable memories, including hiking to the top of a watchtower on his 7th grade camping trip and countless afternoons of recess and friendship in Piedmont Park.
Congratulations, JaJuan! Read more from JaJuan and his Class of 2026 friends.

Last week, we welcomed members of the TCS Class of 2022 back to campus before they head off to college this fall.
They spent the evening reconnecting with classmates, sharing memories from their time at TCS, and reflecting on the experiences that shaped them along the way.
This fall, these alumni will begin their next chapter at colleges and universities including NYU, Columbia, Vanderbilt, Wake Forest, Georgia Tech, UCLA, UC Santa Barbara, Tuskegee, Kennesaw State, and more.
No matter where they go next, they’ll always have a home here. Congrats, alumni!

We are proud to celebrate William as part of our Class of 2026!
William will tell you he's leaving TCS with practical skills: a well-used planner, years of hard work, and the academic foundation to take on whatever comes next. But what stands out most about William isn't just what he's learned. It's who he is. He's someone who does the right thing simply because it's the right thing.
"The BCC trait I connect with is integrity, mainly because I just like to do the right thing regardless of if a person is watching."
Congratulations, William!
