✨ My favorite thing about the conference is My favorite thing about the American Occupational Therapy Association Conference was the opportunity to make new friends, network, and build meaningful connections within the occupational therapy community. I enjoyed meeting other occupational therapy students, practitioners, and professionals who share the same passion for helping others. Having conversations with people from different backgrounds and specialties gave me new perspectives and insight into the field. Building these connections was inspiring because it reminded me how supportive and collaborative the OT community is. The experience motivated me to continue growing professionally and creating relationships that can support my future career ✨

✨ One of my favorite parts of the conference was the opportunity to network and connect with others in the field. It really opened my eyes to how broad and diverse occupational therapy truly is. I especially enjoyed spending time at the pelvic floor booth and gaining more education on that area, since it directly relates to my capstone topic. Overall, it was a great experience, and I feel genuinely grateful to have been able to attend alongside a few of my classmates. I’m definitely hoping to attend the AOTA conference next year. ✨

✨ One of my favorite things about AOTA Inspire was the connection and sense of inclusion being surrounded by people who all understand and value occupational therapy. I also loved connecting with OTRs and gaining insight from their experiences, including learning more about what it’s like to be a travel occupational therapist. Already looking forward to AOTA Inspire 2027 in Boston! ✨

✨ My favorite part about AOTA was the opportunity to network and meet new people while learning more about travel occupational therapy. I also enjoyed gaining a better understanding of the many different ways OT is used across various practice settings. Another exciting highlight was winning an NBCOT study pack, which will be a helpful resource as I continue preparing for my future career in occupational therapy ✨

✨ One of my biggest takeaways from AOTA INSPIRE was realizing just how much our profession is evolving. I had the opportunity to try a robotic UE device used for stroke, paralysis, and other upper-extremity conditions. It incorporated games, ADLs, and different settings based on each client’s needs and range of motion, which was really cool to see in action. I also enjoyed getting to network and meet other people ✨
