The New Ph.D. Student Orientation was held on Monday, August 17 at CEHD.

New Ph.D. students were welcomed and given important information to begin their educational journeys as new GSU EPS Panthers.

Joyce King, the Benjamin E. Mays Endowed Chair for Urban Teaching, Learning and Leadership, co-edited a book entitled "We Still Be Lovin' Black Children: African Diaspora Literacy, A Divine Ancestral Charge." This is an expanded second edition of her earlier book, "We Be Lovin' Black Children: Learning to Be Literate about the African Diaspora." Congrats, Dr. King!
