Saint Anne's Day School

Yesterday, we celebrated the retirement our beloved Kathy Bennett. She has worn many hats at Saint Anne’s, from classroom educator, to librarian, to the head of the Afterschool Program, and so much more. We are eternally grateful for the true gift she has been to our entire community. Thank you, Kathy!

What a joyful and glorious end to a fantastic 2025-2026 school year! We all cherish the personalities, growth, and wonder of the children that have made this year an unforgettable one! Happy Summer Break ☀️

For our final “Meet the Educators” of the year, get to know the Grove Room Three’s! 🌳

Ms. Morton is dedicated to her children and the classroom environment. She sets clear expectations, provides meaningful offerings, and adapts to the needs of her class each day. She brings a strong energy that is felt by the children in her classroom, throughout the three’s community, and even across the school.

Ms. Aysia is a calm and peaceful presence in the classroom. She brings that into her interactions with the children and encourages them to follow that lead throughout the day. She is consistently seen at the tables at the children’s level, engaged in the offerings alongside them, helping create a connected classroom environment.

Together, Ms. Morton and Ms. Aysia create a balance in the classroom. Ms. Morton’s strong energy and dedication, paired with Ms. Aysia’s calm and engaging presence, create an environment where children feel supported, engaged, and cared for.

The Day School Dash is a cherished favorite that the children look forward to all year! Getting them involved in fundraising efforts raises their anticipation and excitement. Children celebrated their fundraising successes at school with costume days, bubble parties, and special treats. The Dash was a hit, with snacks, , dancing, tons of running, and Saint Anne’s spirit!

Meet the educators of the Girasol Room - our multi-age Spanish immersion class! 🌻

Ms. Costa cares deeply about each child in her classroom, which is evident through her conversations and knowledge of each individual child. Her background and experience in early childhood learning allow her to recognize children’s potential and offer rigorous, appropriately challenging materials that support their growth.

Ms. Daisey creates a calm and welcoming environment for all children through both her demeanor and the classroom environment she has developed. She brings creativity to children’s offerings, giving them meaningful opportunities to explore the natural world, experience different cultures, and expand their cognitive development. 

Together, they create a nurturing environment where children are supported, challenged, and inspired to grow.

Celebrating our Day School Dash fundraising success with costumes & Chick-fil-A!

Multi-sensory experiences allow children to regulate, build stronger connections, and help to anchor their learning. In the SunRiver room, children were invited to work with pizza dough and fresh herbs. They made observations using their sight, smell, touch, and taste. What a beautiful way to connect nature and nourishment! 🌿

Meet the educators of the Birdhouse Two’s 🐦🏠

Ms. Alex brings patience and calm to the busy energy of a two-year-old class. She is most often found sitting right at the table alongside the children, fully engaged in their explorations and provocations. The experiences she offers meet children exactly where they are, while gently encouraging growth and supporting each child as an individual through the process.

Ms. Angie truly knows each child in her classroom. Through thoughtful observation and a developmental lens, she can speak to the unique qualities of every child and how they learn best. She is intentional in her interactions, using what she knows to guide and support each child’s development. She leads with compassion, honoring each child for who they are while nurturing their growth every step of the way.

Together, Ms. Alex and Ms. Angie create a classroom environment that feels intentional, responsive, and respectful of childhood.

Earth Day is a natural extension of what we do and believe at Saint Anne’s. Our Reggio-Inspired approach encourages children to explore, question, and care for the world around them.

Today, children investigated our relationship with the Earth, gained deeper understanding of our planet, and discovered that even the smallest hands can have a big impact. 🌎🌱
