Looking back on our Kermesse! ☀️🎉

A month ago, our École du Samedi community came together to celebrate another wonderful school year with games, laughter, delicious food, and plenty of French spirit! 🇫🇷❤️

From our youngest students to our adult learners, from families and volunteers to teachers and staff, it was a joy to spend the day together celebrating all that we've accomplished this year.

Thank you to everyone who helped make the event such a success and to all who joined us. These moments of community, friendship, and shared culture are at the heart of what makes École du Samedi so special.

As we look ahead to summer and prepare for another exciting school year, we're grateful for the memories we created together. 🌟

A Major Milestone for École du Samedi: DELF Success! 🎉🇫🇷

This year marks an exciting first: we officially became a DELF testing center! 🌟

Over the past year, we invested in training and certifying members of our teaching team so that we could offer the DELF Scolaire/Junior examination directly to our students. As part of this new initiative, we offered the DELF A2 exam this spring.

We are thrilled to announce that all 5 of our candidates passed their DELF A2 exam! 🏅👏

The DELF (Diplôme d'Études en Langue Française) is an internationally recognized certification awarded by the French Ministry of Education. It assesses proficiency in French across the four key skills: speaking, listening, reading, and writing.

DELF diplomas are valid for life and are recognized around the world by schools, universities, employers, and government institutions. They provide students with an official way to validate their French-language abilities and celebrate their hard work and achievement.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to our successful candidates, whose dedication and perseverance made this accomplishment possible. We also want to recognize the teachers, examiners, volunteers, and staff members who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to launch this program and support our students every step of the way.

This achievement reflects our commitment to providing high-quality French education and meaningful opportunities for our students to demonstrate their progress and proficiency.

We are incredibly proud of this first cohort and look forward to expanding our DELF offerings in the years ahead, giving even more students the opportunity to earn internationally recognized certification and showcase the remarkable French skills they develop at École du Samedi.
