This STAFE project is bringing incredible French artists and authors to Atlanta, offering free French programming to the francophone and francophile community. 🎉

🎙️ École du Samedi is on the radio! 🇫🇷

Our Executive Director, Myriam Chedouteau, was invited to join Gwinnett Business Radio on Business RadioX, and she did a wonderful job sharing the story of our school! 👏

Since 2002, École du Samedi has been Atlanta’s Saturday home for French language and culture. What started with 60 students has grown into a vibrant community of over 250+ learners, now meeting on the campus of the Atlanta International School.

August got away from us, so this is a combined update with lots of good news:

📖 Community Book Fair, this Saturday, Oct 3rd! Join us from 9:45 to 11:15 AM outside the entrance of École du Samedi at AIS's Buckhead campus. Pick up quality French books at great prices, or pass along the ones your family has outgrown.

📻 We were featured on Business RadioX on September 22nd!

🇫🇷 We welcomed new Consul General Matthieu Clouvel-Gervaiseau and said a warm goodbye to Anne-Laure Desjonquères. Consulate General of France in Atlanta

🎬 We're deepening our partnership with French Premiere. Next up is L'Objet du délit on Wednesday, October 14th at 7 PM, with discounted tickets for EDS families.

🎨 Comicopia is almost here! French artists and authors visit on November 7th, and the French programming is free and open to the public. https://www.comicopiaatl.com/

🎉 Our Open House and Rentrée were a joy, and we loved welcoming so many new families and faculty.

✨ There's also news on the expanding DELF program, École des Max subscriptions, and our partners Savio and Storyplay'r.

Registration is still open, but space is limited and some classes are already full. If you know a family who would love to learn French, tell them to reach out soon!

These traditions become meaningful when children experience them together.

Passing on a language also means passing on the stories, celebrations, and values that come with it.
