KidLinks Hugapalooza is back — a FREE sing-along concert and Children's Resource Fair at Klyde Warren Park, built entirely around one thing: making kids feel like they're getting the biggest hug. 🤗
There will be live music, an interactive puppet show, activities for kids, and a resource fair connecting DFW families to the support children need.

Our wonderful RBTs put these tips together to remind us that every big milestone is really a series of small victories, starting with shoe tying, which is actually six separate skills....who knew 👟 ✨

No wonder it can feel like a lot for their little hands! We know confidence isn't built overnight, it's built step by step. That’s why chaining is such a wonderful tool in our parenting toolbox. It breaks a big task down into smaller, bite-sized wins so our kids feels capable and supported every step of the way.

Whether they love starting at the very beginning (Forward Chaining) or getting to do that final pull for an instant "I did it!" victory (Backward Chaining), it's such a encouraging way to build their confidence.

Swipe through to see how both methods work and figure out which one might be a fun fit for your next shoe-tying practice! ✨

How do you teach your kiddos to tie their shoes, let us know in the comments 👇👇

Our kids do a lot of growing, learning, and socializing in a single school day, so a short window to reset before homework or activities can go a long way.

Even just 15 intentional minutes can help the rest of the evening feel a little smoother (and a little more fun).

Here are 3 tips to help our explorers decompress.
