The Preston Partnership was founded in 1995 as a small architectural firm with an absolute commitment to quality and service. Over the last 20 years we have enjoyed considerable growth and weathered occasional recessions, maturing into one of the most reputable design firms in the business. Our portfolio spans 40 states and includes work with some of the most respected and well known developers in

the nation. Our award-winning design and focus on quality documents has driven the growth of our portfolio to include complex urban infill sites, large-scale mixed use town centers and luxury high rise residential towers. We have built industry expertise with over 75,000 multifamily units completed, under construction, or in design. Our experience includes a wide variety of product types in diverse markets across the nation, giving us a deep understanding of multifamily product, trends, market factors, and construction costs. Additionally, we have designed over 8,550 beds of student housing for both private developers and institutions. Welcome, Ntchwaidumela Thomas!

We’re excited to welcome Dumela to the team as a Project Architect, where he’ll be supporting our Construction Administration efforts and bringing his extensive architectural experience to our projects.

He holds both a Bachelor of Environmental Design in Architecture and a Master of Architecture from North Carolina State University. His career has spanned several areas of architecture, with a particular focus on multifamily development over the past 7½ years.

As a dedicated team player, he takes pride in collaborating with others and working toward a common goal. We’re excited to have his experience, perspective, and collaborative approach on the team!
