We are thrilled to announce that the Carver Mighty Marching Panthers have been nominated as one of the top 25 high school bands in the Metro Atlanta area by ESPN!

This puts our musicians in the running for the ESPN Band of the Year event, a nationally televised competition that could showcase the Mighty Marching Panthers on a national stage.

We need your votes to stay in the running! Please vote often and share this opportunity with your family and friends.

This summer, our PBSA scholars spent their time at Project South learning the art of organizing and the deep history of their own community — through archives, art, land, and even helping facilitate a Juneteenth celebration.

Carver STEAM scholars gained real-world experience this summer by interning with PBSA Stars—our summer camp at Slater and Price. These summer interns didn't just show up this summer — they showed out. Leadership, confidence, and character were front and center all summer long.

What happens when scholars have the chance to explore their interests, build new skills and imagine what’s possible?

This summer, PBSA scholars of all ages put purpose into practice through Pathways with Purpose. From arts and urban agriculture to leadership, STEM, community organizing and career exploration, scholars participated in internships, camps and hands-on learning experiences designed to build confidence, expand horizons and prepare them for what comes next.

Because discovering your purpose can start at any age. 💙
