Wooooo did you feel that???? When the ground shakes😳
Shared my work with a mentor this weekend and he tore it to shreds. Some things he said I already knew and have identified as a weakness and somethings I didn’t fully agree with but I respect it because he throughly went through it and gave me a full critique.
It’s a challenge not to be impulsive with your sensitivity. Listen, digest, consider the source and allow yourself grace.
When I started the journey of film making I had no clue what I was doing. I had a camera and an editing software. I went to school took some classes and became more knowledgeable about concepts which made me aware what to look for as I digested film.
Honestly I still don’t know what I’m doing but I found out that when I at least try and complete a project another piece will be revealed in regards to direction in this journey.
I honor myself by trying. I honor myself by giving myself grace understanding that it’s a process. I honor myself by acknowledging my weaknesses and see it as opportunities to get better. I honor myself by being a badass. I honor myself by having the courage to show my work to someone that is going to rip it to shreds. I honor myself by stepping up to the challenges. I honor myself to just keep going and go hard!!!!

Ladies and gentlemen I’m excited to announce my first release off of Burn & Bounce Vol 1 November 16th Titled “Replay” featuring artist and starring the incredibly talented Actress Shèla Gèrome in the video produced by me Mr.Sims. Shot out to my partner Mr Scott F Evans behind the lens on this one!!! This collab is special because of the times we are in. We are living in a culture where drug use is being glorified and we are losing people at alarming rates to . Su***de rates are increasing by the year so we composed a song in hopes to inspire someone to reach out and get help. ***de

I’m getting ready to drop my first piece on Burn and Bounce Vol.1 I’m excited about it cause I decided to take a chance on myself as oppose to what I’ve done in my career prior which was sign deals that were for someone else’s agenda. I’ve taken my own destiny,resources and talents and put together a presentation In hopes to inspire people.
