Meet Legal Writing Instructor Dr. Megan E. Boyd! 📚

Dr. Boyd brings a strong background in legal writing, advocacy, and legal education to AJMLS. An accomplished lawyer, scholar, and educator, she previously practiced insurance coverage and bad-faith litigation in Atlanta and served as a law clerk to the Honorable Asha F. Jackson of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. She later taught legal research and writing, advanced legal writing, civil procedure, and professional responsibility at Georgia State University College of Law. She serves as Editor-in-Chief of the Scribes Journal of Legal Writing.

Meet Adjunct Professor Anthony “Tony” L. Cochran! 📚

Professor Cochran brings more than 50 years of experience in complex civil, criminal, administrative, and regulatory matters to AJMLS. An accomplished trial attorney, he has tried dozens of jury and bench trials in federal and state courts and is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers. His career includes service as an Assistant United States Attorney for the Northern District of Georgia, where he received commendations from the U.S. Attorney General and the Director of the FBI, as well as nearly 15 years of teaching at Emory University School of Law.

We are proud to welcome Professor Cochran to the AJMLS faculty.
