We usually wait a bit to post our newsletter links. But not the August issue! We are so excited.

Our thanks go to Vasken Markarian of the Texas Historical Commission for his outstanding work on behalf of Atlanta-Miller Grade School. Also included is a fascinating tale about the old "first grade wing" by T. Danny Stanley.

Thanks, everyone!

In the August 2026 issue, we learn about the process of securing National Register status, and we hear from the person who handled our application from start to finish!
