Profile Institute of Barber-Styling opened June 5, 1989, after becoming licensed by the Georgia Stat
Since opening, the school has graduated students from communities throughout the Metropolitan Atlanta area and the State of Georgia, as well as
some border states. Many of the graduates have opened their own barber businesses and have proven to be successful. The Institution is a community-based training facility, and has been in the same location since its creation. Profile Institute of Barber-
Styling continues to be committed to its students and the Atlanta
community.

GEORGIA STATE LAW ‼️O.C.G.A.43-10-9(h)‼️ As of July 1, 2015, Candidates for a barber/cosmetology license have 24 months after graduation to completed or passed the State board. If not, all credit hours will be forfeited and another 1500 hours will be required from an accredited institution or apprenticeship to obtain a license from the State Board.
