What We Do…

- UBSA Service-Learning Mentoring – UBSA chapters develop partnerships with local school districts, schools, after-school, mentoring and religious programs to include a standards based service-learning mentoring component that complements existing programming or objectives. UBSA project coordinators provide support and monitoring of each service-learning project to ensure that all qua

lity standards are met.

- UBSA Service-Learning Training – Each summer, UBSA Service-Learning Champions facilitate workshops at summer camps that teach youth the service-learning process, service-learning project management and how to obtain grants to support their projects.

- UBSA "Sparks" Youth Conference - Annual Youth Conference that provide themed enrichment training, entertainment and activities that ignite and cultivate the interest, passion and gifts that give their life meaning and purpose.

Team Pride (9th grade) and Team Crimson (10th) grade at Maynard Jackson High School participate in another Service-Learning Project powered by United Brothers and Sisters of America. Students worked togther to make over 200 sandwiches for Emmaus House and participate in a community clean up of their school grounds and local community.
