Lotus Club Parkland

Today was a very special day for the Lotus Club family! Let's start with our dedicated and very proud student. RAVEENA! Raveena, as you know, is a 12-year-old blind girl. Her dedication to Jiu Jitsu began in 1 year ago and never stopped. Her classes were always private and focused on her limitations. After to much dedication of her and of her coach Marcelo Gonçalves, we could see a phenomenal result. Today the Lotus Club was invited to do a Jiu Jitsu seminar at the Welch Martial Arts and we invited Raveena to demonstrate with Marcelo Coach her skills. Guess what? She not only demonstrated but also taught the whole class present. Result? Belt graduation, successful inclusion within the class and very proud of this family!
Thank you Sule for the opportunity, Thank you Frank for the Donuts, was delicious and Thank you Hayley and Brian in believe in your daughter, she is amazing!

Essa quinta foi dedicado a ajudar crianças com deficiência visual em um acampamento. Apresentar o Jiu Jistu e mostrar que elas podem participar dessa incrível arte marcial! Sentimos muito orgulho do Professor e sabemos que, quem aprende mais, somos nós com essas crianças mais que especiais!

This Thursday was dedicated to helping blind children in a camp. Introduce Jiu Jistu and show them that they can participate in this incredible martial art! We are very proud of Professor Marcelo and we know that who learns more with these children more than special!

Today our day was a success! We brought some of what we know to very special people!

Tomorrow we will be present at a fair to present the inclusion project!
