American Helicopter Society - Georgia Tech (AHS-GT) Georgia Tech is a world-renowned institution for rotorcraft research and education.

The American Helicopter Society (AHS) is the world's premier vertical flight technical society. The Vertical Flight Society (VFS -AHS) at Georgia Tech/ Atlanta Chapter is hosting a General Meeting on April 16, 2019 at 11 AM in Guggenheim. 442 to elect new officers for the 2019-2020 school year!

This announcement also opens the nomination period for candidates. We are looking to fill the following positions:

1. President
2. Vice President
3. Secretary
4. Membership Chair
5. Undergraduate Liaison/ Outreach Chair.

The same person may run for more than one position. Please note that all candidates must be members of the Vertical Flight Society (VFS International), and that the President candidates must have held a position in the past. Correction: VFF Applicants: Monday, February 4th at 11AM is the last internal deadline to submit the VFF application to Ms. Christine Powell, Weber 200. Make sure that the recommendation letters are sealed and submitted along with the rest of the packet.

Package can also be submitted to Prof. Rogers on Thursday Jan 31st, before 5PM

Packages can also be submitted directly to VFS, as per indicated on vtol.org
