To kick off the start of the school year, Reach for Excellence hosted a high school transition workshop for 9th grade students and their parents. Reach shared tips on ways students can prepare for their high school experience and how parents can support their students. We also had simultaneous translation for our Spanish speaking families during the workshop. We are glad to reconnect with our scholars as they begin high school!

At the end of the summer session, our Reach scholars had a couple of days of field day activities instead of their regular electives. The field days were organized in collaboration between a Reach intern and our computer science teacher, Mr. Michaud. Our scholars had 3 days of fun filled activities among their cohort classmates.
