If you’re blessed to be scrolling social media right now … you’re more blessed than you know it.
I always count all of my blessings no matter how big or small they may appear to the eye.
At one point in life
- I lost my favorite uncle to cancer
- I lost my only great grand to old age
- I lost my brother to a single gun shot wound to the head
- I lost my dad to his current wife
- I lost my confidence when my uncle told me I was fat, stupid, ugly & that’s why my daddy ain’t want me
- I lost my elementary childhood friends due being forced to move states repeatedly
- I lost my childhood bro A.L. to a gun
- I lost all of my childhood belongings because my mom moved me around a lot
- I lost my first car I bought myself because I was under the influence
- I lost a college bestfriend Jmac to a motorcycle accident
- I lost my only & favorite grandparent that gave a damn about me existing
- I lost my trust in men when my ex made it known he was “entertaining” other women
- I lost my first therapist because she told me I didn’t need her
- I almost gave up and lost my life before to su***de due to an overdose of pills
I can go on and on about all of the things and people I have lost but if you’re reading this you get the picture.
HERE I AM!
Here I am standing strong.
Here I am solo traveling the world.
Here I am pouring into people and everyday I’m able to.
Here I am always seeing my glass half full and not half empty.
Here I am remaining a pure hearted, open minded individual.
I’m still here!!!! As much as I have lost I CANNOT lose!!!
If my life ended today I’d be grateful to know that I MADE IT! I made it out of the matrix. A true warrior.

Traveling solo 101 in my mind is to be sure to record everything. Not just for memory, but for safety also!
As a solo traveler I always capture moments so I can reminisce and share with others always!
However, I also am sure to record key details that really can help me out IF there is a time that I am ever in need.
What I mean by that is I always capture my driver, the license plate, the entrance to where I’m staying, and nearby surroundings just to name a few.
I feel it’s really important to have those few things captured as “evidence” for safety ya feel meeee!
&&&&& Not for nothing but I also ALWAYS switch locations on where I’m staying mid trip. I’m staying at least 2-3 resorts/hotels/air bnbs during EACH vacation I go on solo lol!!!
&&&&& Yes!!!! I always unpack my bags as if I’m truly “AT HOME”! I really enjoy comfort lol!
I have travel tips for days honestly. Follow me to learn how I always end up having a successful solo experience!

5 things I’ve learned while solo traveling
1.) DO NOT overpack!
- there is a 100% chance you’ll want to shop when you arrive and trust me they will have everything you need and more!
2.) A closed mouth DOES NOT get fed!
- if you think you’re just going to be in silence the whole time I’m here to tell you otherwise! Talking to “strangers” can be one of the absolute best things ever!!!
3.) DO NOT have a 100% set itinerary!
- things will happen at the last minute and you might want to change your plans. I never have too many things preplanned or booked in advance because I know I love a good random venture!
4.) BE OPEN!!!
- It’s a waste of a trip and time if you are close minded to only things you’re used too. Travel is meant to open your mind and give you new insights on the world!!! If the opportunity presents itself I say GIVE IT A TRY! (Except drugs. Do NOT give those random drugs a try!)
5.) RECORD/TAKE PICS!
- you’ll be surprised at how much fun you’re having and how fast it will go away. I do my best to live in those moments while also capturing them as well. It’s such a joy to be able to show others what you’ve been up to along the journey!
Like this random dump here! Yes, I was in Tokyo meeting new friends who will be around for a lifetime! I even did hair while there which if you know me you knowwwww hair is my FIRST LOVE!!!
It was such a joy to be able to do what I do not just ij another country but another continent!!! Call me AN INTERNATIONAL TRAVELING COSMETOLOGIST NOW BABY!

Very long lasting, Very flat, very intact!!!! 📣📣📣📣
I’m really banking on myself every single time when it comes to doing a braid down for a sewin install. Not only do I braid nice and flat, I also do not braid tight! My clients will literally fall asleep during this part of service lol. Another bonus… I braid FAST! So by the time my clients goes to sleep I’m like girl wake up so I can put this net on your hair (the net that is included in your service and not additional pricing lol 😂) !!!
The length of the hair nor the amount of hair will ever let me give somebody a big bulky unlaid braid down you hear me.
I have YEARS of experience with doing traditional install. Started with myself and I never looked back from it my freshmen year of college. 14 years later and HUNDREDSSSSSSS of girls would tell you my braid downs EAT!
