From this weeks ✍🏾blog post…”What Is The Operations Area of Your Business?”

One of the key elements that is a part of the operations area within your business is having opening and closing procedures.

No matter if you are a brick and mortar, working from home or on the go in the field, you need to have opening and closing procedures. It helps you to be accountable each day, sets you up to have a successful day and easy to bring in additional support if you need someone to ever takeover for the day or longer.

As moms running our businesses is like running our household. So just like the kiddos have morning and evening procedures the same applies to the start and end of day in your business!

🤷🏽‍♀️Getting organized is not always an easy task when going at it alone. Allow my experience to work with you in getting organized in your business, so that you’re not continuing to leave money on the table💰

Let’s start with you taking my FREE quiz…”How Cluttered is Your Business?” to identify where you may be experiencing clutter and how it could be impacting the profit coming into your business.

✅ Click the link in my bio to take the quiz and read the full blog post!

Let me know in the comments below…do you have opening and closing procedures for your business? Let’s talk about it!

March is a month that we celebrate women and their impact on the world.

I have always admired Madam C.J. Walker and when I had the chance to watch her story in more depth in the Netflix Series: Self-Made a couple of years ago I saw so much of my own journey and determination in her life.

As a homeschooling mom, a huge part of my children’s journey is entrepreneurship. It is one of my personal goals for them to have a strong foundation to build their lives on by the time they graduate and I feel as though entrepreneurship is a great pathway for success.

Today, I had my children watch the entire Self-Made series. So it was a long day for us 🤣 nonetheless it is imperative for them to see stories like this. It helps me in my teachings and gives them a clearer understanding of what it is and that it can be accomplished.

I was taken back by their never ending questions and then to hear their own stories of what they want to become as adults that it was a bit overwhelming to take in (in a good way).

A big part of Madam C.J. Walker’s mission was to empower black women through employment and entrepreneurship. It’s a mission I understand all to well and what my own enterprise embodies.

So today we celebrate Madam C.J. Walker❤️

Most of us rely on the internet to operate our businesses and when that critical component isn’t working it can be frustrating!

So having a list of offline tasks that you can do to remain productive and proactive is necessary to keep you on track with your goals.

Do you have an offline plan for your business?

If you would have told me that my family and I would be spending Christmas 🎄 🇲🇽 in beautiful Mexico I would’ve laughed. This year has truly been full of so many changes for our family that I’m incredibly grateful for. Wishing you a beautiful day😘

By far one of my favorite reads 🙌🏾 doesn’t hold back with teaching you why you deserve to be a millionaire, shifts your mindset page after page and will have you getting your entire life together!!!

When I first started my business at 18-years-old, I like many young folks (lol) thought I had it all figured out. But I wasn’t prepared for the years of real life experiences that were ahead of me.

Fast forward, after firing my 9-2-5 (yeah right after they laid me off 😂) I decided to bet on my damn self. I turned my side hustle into a full-time business and haven’t looked back since.

This book has come into my personal life and business journey right on time as I’m moving to a new level. The thought of being a millionaire never even entered my mind. But ask me today and I’ll tell you with confidence that your girl IS going to be a millionaire🙋🏽‍♀️

I always tell my clients, who are first time business owners that being an entrepreneur is a lifestyle, a journey and not something “you just check off, forget about and clock out”. It’s full of changes and growth stages that test you at every corner. But at the end of the day it’s still the best decision I made❤️

👇🏾What book are you reading or have you read that has inspired your life?
