Learning In Color celebrated March 2026 where volunteers from and elementary academy students helped paint two beautiful murals; 1- canvas mural “A Culture of Care, A Legacy of Learning” designed by and 2-“magic wall” mural designed by Lenia Castro *with input from 6-12 grade students, celebrating the school’s incredible legacy and community partnerships😍This beautiful art has transformed the stairwell area that leads into the local Eastlake YMCA where Drew Academy students partake in extended learning experiences everyday!🤗Thank you to the schools, sponsors and artists who make our work possible, “one wall, one school, one community at a time!”❤️ *a portion of the art supplies used for this project were donated by Blick Art Materials *photography by 😄
