These word study wreaths make the best review craft during December ❤️

I give my students different bows with one digraph, blend and or vowel team on it and then they write 5 different words on the ornaments!! I add a bit more of fun to this by letting them be word detectives and look for it in their books 😍

October 2nd is National Custodian Appreciation Day and I can't wait to celebrate our school custodians!!! ✨

If you were to ask any teacher I am SURE they would tell you that some of the hardest working people in the building are the custodians. They show up day after day doing an amazing job of keeping our buildings clean, welcoming, and running!

Every year I do this appreciation lesson with my class and we take the time to reflect and think about how we've personally been helped by our custodians and to recognize all the million things they do for us.

It is a beautiful thing to hear about the relationships they've built and to see my firsties bursting with kindness and gratitude! Let me tell you after that lesson, the kiddos are always pumped up to make and write their cards. They (and I) LOVE every minute of it!! 🥰

Paper bag pumpkins 🎃🧡 How fun would it be to have a classroom pumpkin patch?!??

Simply have your kiddos paint a paper bag and stuff it with newspaper! Then use a piper cleaner to close the bag.

Add a face with construction paper to make it perfect for Halloween or skip that step to make it a more “fall” classroom decoration!

I love personalizing my hallway displays with photo projects especially right before the parents come in for something like a curriculum night or open house ❤️

I just snap a quick picture of the kiddos and then have them write about a goal or something they are excited about this school year!

From there you can print the photo (this template fits a 4x6) and attach it to the paper with tape or glue… Voila ✨ you have the CUTEST display guaranteed to get a ton of compliments and happy reactions from parents 😍

This is guaranteed to cut down on the “I’m hurt” interruptions throughout the school day! Boo boo lotion is perfect for those kiddos who always want a band-aid for that invisible injury or insists they need to go to the nurse….

Teach students that they can get a pump of lotion when something is hurting and just watch how this will magically help them to feel better ❤️‍🩹
