DISPELLING LIES ABOUT DOCTORAL DEGREES: “YOU ARE JUST PAYING FOR PAPER , IT IS NOT WORTH ALL THAT MONEY”

The bottom line is this: No one should enter a federally-recognized doctoral program without A PLAN of how the degree can work for them.

If your goal is personal achievement, that is fine for sure. But if it is rooted in some specific goal that also represent the benefits of the degree, it is even better.

THIS NEXT PART IS FOR THE APOSTOLIC-PROPHETIC BELIEVER WHO HAS THE HOLY SPIRIT LEADING THEM.

First, WE were created to dominate the systems of this world ACADEMICALLY (as this is what we are talking about right now). Our entrance into the academic arena is to establish the things of God in the earth.

We have insight this world needs.

The Lord puts supernatural knowledge in us and draws us to different systems to take over them, lead them in His firection. He uses who He created us to be.

It is why he used Daniel (knowledge of Babylon) and Solomon (knowledge of science, agriculture, legal process, and astronomy) at such a strategic apostolic level THAT RECORDS WERE KEPT of that knowledge. Look it up gor yourself. (And there are others like David in the areas of war, administration, educational systems, etc.).

They knew how to place that knowledge… and build “in those areas.” God DOES CARE about mastery, precision and even narrow fields of study.

WE BENEFIT FROM THEIR FIELDS EVERY DAY! From people studying the nervous system to the feet, from the value of green vegetables to the power of the honey bee.

These are ACADEMIC REALMS! All designed by God for us to rule and reign in for sufficiency, success. (It is not about the perversion and misuse in this discussion, but the God-principle of us revealing Him.)

When people PLAY WITH DEGREES, they are harming the purpose of them whether non-federally recognized or federally recognized.

It is troublesome and extremely dangerous to see people “operate in ignorance” in these areas or move in deliberate lies… by just wanting titles and respect.

WHAT IS YOUR DOCTORAL DISCIPLINE IN? Where is your CAPSTONE OR DISSERTATION BEARING QUALITATIVE OR QUANTITATIVE RESEARCH IN YOUR FIELD? WHAT WAS YOUR CONFERRING CONTRIBUTION?

Are you published THROUGH THE GATES afforded you or considering the opportunity? Are you lecturing on your findings or licensed in your practice?

WHERE ARE YOU?

We fight about false designations and qualifications everyday in the church, but it is the same situation “in the church” with secular functions and titles.

Different situation or devil, same problem.

LET US CALL IT OUT!

Let us identify what is reality: “My degree is in this area, but it is from a non-federally recognized institution. It affords me these rights but not these rights globally. Here is my final project which reflects the ORGANIZATION’S standards set before me for that group. This is the work I do and the context. These are the licensures I hold with this organization and others.”

“My degree is from a federally-revognized institution, it affords me these rights globally. Here is my capstone/dissertation and published papers. This is the work I do, the licensures I hold with the state.”

We are not talking about certificates here, but the concepts of degrees. I pray some will see the difference and not view this as an attack. WE JUST NEED CLARITY TO CLEAR UP MISCONCEPTIONS AND TO WALK RIGHTLY.

Why? Because right now the congregation (especially among charismatic believers) release a lot of confision and chaos in this area. Prople are often misled here.

People with doctorates FROM FEDERALLY-RECOGNIZED INSTITUTIONS ARE NOT JUST GETTING PAPER AND LETTERS. They are entering entire systems that develop and create AND BUILDthe knowledge that MAKE SOCIETIES AND NATIONS WORK - FROM UNDERSTANDING TEXTILES TO TECHNOLOGY, DENTISTRY TO PODIATRY AND THE BRAIN.

Let us get untwisted. Let us see God’s hand. Truly the earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof.

Are we living lives of spiritual emptiness, thinking we are fully immersed in the Gospel? As we face the days ahead, we must be able to recognize when the church has shifted from being the DWELLING PLACE GOD DESIRES to a structure shaped by the hands and ideas of men.

Even more importantly, we must ask ourselves a crucial question and answer it with honesty: "Is my own life divided by a desire for worldly modification, leaning toward humanism as a substitute for the Gospel, or is it truly bent toward GOD, being daily prepared as a temple for Him?"

Join us this morning to realign your soul with what it truly needs to be made whole: https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZIoc-2grDsuHtyEj8z4j_Rz-HgZy267bhQJ #/registration

Understand the concept of church modification.
Identify the "MODERN DAY ATHENS" within us that has infiltrated the church.
Equip yourself with the tools to recognize deception.
Choose to separate yourself from these influences (Rend your hearts, reclaim your righteous mind).

07/23/2024

I am excited to announce that The School of the Scribe and The Scribal Conservatory will celebrate the life of Apostle Bernard Boulton on Sunday, July 28th at 11 AM here in the metro Atlanta area.

We will remember our friend and brother with a joyful celebration and a powerful reflection on his life and ministry. He was a founding member of the School of the Scribe and a pillar to our scribal family.

The Lord has honored so many of His people throughout the years who honored His word and pronounced it to the people. Apostle Bernard loved biblical parables, discussing parables in dreams, and revealing parables about legacy and fathering others.

The Lord said to me, "We remember the legacy of others in the faith because He has chosen to remember them." Therefore, we will remember (Z***R) what God accomplished through Apostle Bernard's life as his life touched ours.

Psalm 78 ESV says:
"Give ear, O my people, to my teaching; incline your ears to the words of my mouth! I will open my mouth in a parable; I will utter dark sayings from of old, things that we have heard and known, that our fathers have told us. We will not hide them from their children, but tell to the coming generation the glorious deeds of the Lord, and His might, and the wonders He has done."

Join us. Celebrate with us. Let's speak of the Lord and His goodness as we remember our brother and friend and establish a remembrance for him. We will be setting up a book scholarship program in his name through The School of the Scribe. Our first scholarship will be awarded in 2024 to help first-time authors launch.

SACRIFICE. It took me a while, but I grew to love this biblical term.

For a long time I couldn't appreciate it because I always saw it from the connotation of giving up something I wanted. I saw it in context of "obedience is better than sacrifice"... which can be viewed in a very begrudging way.

I had to grow in knowing that to obey God, means you are walking in place where sacrifices are IMMEDIATELY dealt with because you trust God. To MAKE A SACRIFICE is to decide to obey God, but there is a death and sometimes a whole process that takes us to a place where we are in obedience.

Abraham took God at His word with Isaac. It's this type of sacrifice that we all need. Let me explain.

The word sacrifice is often used ONLY in terms of what "we have had to give up." If our understanding is solely based on a dictionary meaning, this makes sense... and is partially a part of it. But it IS NOT the context of the biblical word that gives us its core foundation (which we must dig to discover and trust Holy Spirit to reveal.)

Genesis 3:21 is actually the FIRST USE of this word in the scriptures. Remember, the first blood sacrifice was not made by a man, but BY GOD himself. And that sacrifice, spoke to God's desire to reclaim humanity despite humanity's rejection of Him.

Read the scripture, I won't place it here. Study the passages leading up to it and finish the chapter.

When you read it, it might not LOOK LIKE "a sacrifice" at first it is... AND God was the first person to shed "the blood of animal" to cover the "nakedness" of humanity. The beauty in this is simple: God's chosen people were forgiven from the beginning.

A blood sacrifice was made and the first humans probably weren't even aware of what was happening in the midst of their shame.

THIS FIRST MENTION reveals something powerful to us about GOD and the back-drop of this word: qorbān” (קרבן). It IS a Hebrew word, directly from the language of God (the language HE DELIBERATELY CHOSE to introduce to us concerning his laws and precepts). The language itself is a tremendous unfolding mystery in its design, actual meaning and revelation to the chosen.

After study, you will find that the word is covenental in nature, not just an act or a deed that says "look what I have given up for my Father, my Lord." For the saint, it is a call to the altar, a declaration of NEARNESS OR CLOSENESS to God. In context to God, it means to draw near for the purpose of transformation, change. EVERY BLOOD SACRIFICE in scripture was a call to communion, covenant... restoration.

SACRIFICE is a declaration of of action, decision in the context of this post.... and a determining to be close to God, and we already know God is a consuming fire.

As believers of Jesus Christ and his way, we love talking about the sacrifices we make in our journey with Him. Now, when you look at those "actions"... what you should see is HOW THEY CAUSED YOU TO BECOME CLOSER TO HIM. If you can see that from the perspective of a trasformative life, then you have really made a sacrifice worthy of the Father and will continue along that path.

We should see what was BURNED AWAY in the fire of His Spirit and what was TRANSFORMED IN OUR LIVES... AND CONTINUES to be transformed.

Transformation is all about SACRIFICING as God sees it. It is more about not having a will except His, not just giving up our will. There is a difference.

This perspective is far better than bragging from a place of works and ritual. We should know better than anyone elsemhow powerful this action is. But I tell you, it gives us no bragging rights.

Jesus said this in HIS FIRST USE OF THE WORD (which mirrors God's actions with the skins): “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.” The command, "follow me," is a CALL of sacrifice. There are so many CALLS to sacrifice after this pattern in God's word.

Matthew 16:24-25 is another call for the biblical concept of sacrifice. Jesus said, “If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me and for the gospel will save it.”

From now on, when we see commands and concepts like this from Genesis to Revelation, we should see them through the eyes of the Father.

We should be encouraged in knowing that EVERYDAY we have the opportunity to know THIS WAY BETTER, because in truth, many of us fall short here... as we rend our works instead of our hearts, our minds.

My prayer today is that we embrace what sacrifice really means from its depths. That we covenant its meaning in our hearts... and see the "verb" take root... not just the "adjective"....

I pray we understand what the altar looks like and why the blood is just as much a conversation today... as it was on THAT DAY when God was the first to shed blood and cover humanity -- wrapping us in the promise of the man-made altar and burnt offerings... and now how this translates through Christ and the covenant within us.
