Hi, everybody! We are coming to the end of another year, and it's been a great growing season. We hope you all have had great success with your plants. We will have one more meeting this year and that will take place on December 6th. We will be meeting at our regular meeting place, the Atlanta Library at Scott's Crossing. Please join us for cactus fellowship!

Of course, we will also have the freebie pile, so feel free to bring plants you'd like to share with other members. Even cuttings are popular! Please keep in mind that the freebie pile is for new and existing members, and it is a benefit of being a member of the society. We will also have snacks and light refreshments. We can't wait to see everyone there.

Hello, everybody! Hope you all are enjoying the spring season. Our next meeting will be our June meeting and we will once again be discussing soil recipes specific for cacti. This is always a very fun topic and it is interesting to see how other members create their soil mixes.

Please feel free to bring in samples of your mix, or even just any soil amendments that you use, and we will discuss the pros and cons of each, growing experiences, substitutes, sourcing materials, etc.

We will be meeting at the East Roswell Library for our June Meeting. We continue to have scheduling conflict with our regular location, so we will possibly change locations as meetings continue. The East Roswell Library is located at 2301 Holcomb Bridge Rd, Roswell, GA 30076. We will meet in the Storytime Room. We hope you can join us. Please be mindful that we are guests of the library, and since we will be dealing with soil, we ask that you bring proper containers for your soils.

Of course, we will also have the freebie pile, so feel free to bring plants you'd like to share with other members. Please keep in mind that the freebie pile is for new and existing members, and it is a benefit of being a member of the society. We will also have snacks and light refreshments. We can't wait to see everyone there!

NEXT MEETING AT NEW LOCATION
SAT. APRIL 5th - 3:00PM-5:00PM

Hello, friends. We are officially in spring! It's looking like it will be a great growing season. Our next meeting will be at our regular Saturday time, however, please make note that we will need to go to a new location due to the library not being available.

We will be meeting in the Orchid Room at the Smyrna Community Center. We will not be switching to this location permanently - we will be at this location only for the April 2025 meeting. The address is as follows:

Smyrna Community Center
1250 Powder Springs St.
Smyrna, GA 30080.

To celebrate Spring, we're asking that all attendees bring at least one item for show & tell, or for the freebie pile - but not just plants, feel free to bring pots, soil, or any gardening related items that you'd like to add to the pile!

In case you don't know, at every meeting, we have a freebie pile and attendees are able to take any of those plants for free. Many of our members have grown their cacti collections this way and it's been great to see so many great plants available to members for free! Let's make this meeting's freebie pile extra special.

We will have snacks and drinks, so come hang out for a couple of hours. It's great to talk with other cactus growers and share updates on our collections. If you have questions, or need help finding the location, feel free to send us an email. Hope to see you there!
