💫 This past Saturday at Rich Hart Global Studios, we didn't just talk about success - we explored how community expands it!

We welcomed 10 new members into the NSA Georgia family, reinforcing our theme for the year: "Speaking of Success" - built on the three pillars of Community, Content, and Credentials. And this month, we are immersing ourselves in COMMUNITY!

🤔 What does it MEAN to truly build community as a speaker

Through table talks, we asked & discussed:
🔹 Who's in our speaker community?
🔹 Who are we learning from?
🔹 Who do we need to bring into our world?

We shared real, actionable ways to strengthen and deepen relationships - not just by making new connections but by engaging in the communities we're already a part of. Whether that means grabbing coffee with a peer, starting a Meetup, mentoring someone in our industry, or simply showing up for the conversations that matter!

🎉 Because success is A LOT easier (and DEFINITELY more fun) when you're surrounded by the right people!

And let's speak about our Main Stage inspiration this month - Michelle Villalobos!

She took this conversation on community to the next level, showing us how to leverage speaking engagements to build real, lasting, communities.

🙌 Because while a speech can spark a change, as she reminded us: "Real transformation takes time AND community!"

She challenged us to visualize the community we WANT to build, not for business, not for profit, but simply because it lights us up! Because sometimes the biggest value we offer isn't US, it's the connections and experiences we create for others!

Snow may have delayed our first in-person gathering of the year, but we more than made up for it with an unforgettable February Main Stage event!

Hip Hop Hooray for 🎤 Rob Ferre, CSP 🎉

Rob brought his signature energy and interactive brilliance to the stage at Global Media Studio, and while we can't possibly share all the takeaways (there were SO many), here are a few:

📷 How do you want to be seen in the world? Once you answer that, everything - from how you show up to the phrases you use and even the way you move - should reflect that.

📱 Engagement matters! Whether its gamification, storytelling, or an epic group selfie (we learned how to take a great one - it's an art), keeping your audience involved is key.

🧐 We even discovered our celebrity doppelgangers (thanks to a software tool Rob shared - I bet if you ask him, he'll share it with you). But, most importantly, we walked away with actionable strategies to make our presentations more immersive, engaging, and memorable.

💡 Beyond the tactics, this event was a testament to the power of community. The conversations, collaboration, and connections in the room reminded us why NSA Georgia is such a special place for professional speakers.

😯 We celebrated our 8 new members AND the 12 members enrolled in our newly revamped Speaker Academy AND (as if that isn't enough celebration already) an important transition as Genie Snyder Chamberlin passed the gavel to our 2025 President, Leslie Gordon Speech Coaching!
