The Importance of the Quran in Ramadan
The Month of Revelation: "(It is) the month of Ramadan in which the Qur'an was revealed as a guidance for mankind..." (Quran 2:185).
Sunnah of the Prophet (PBUH): Gabriel (AS) used to meet the Prophet (PBUH) every night in Ramadan to study the Quran together.
Multiplier of Rewards: Abu Hurayra reported that the Prophet (PBUH) said: “Whoever recites a letter from the Book of Allah, he will receive one good deed as ten good deeds like it". In Ramadan, these rewards are multiplied even more.
Intercession: "Recite the Quran, for on the Day of Judgment, it will come as an intercessor for its companions" (Sahih Muslim 804).
