We promote activities to encourage bicycling, improve safety, increase bicycling parking, and shape policies Panther Bikes is a student-led group focused on making the Georgia State University campus a bike-friendly area. We are an official student organization at Georgia State University!

Looking for a great activity for you and your bike this weekend? Atlanta Streets Alive takes over Georgia Avenue and Ralph David Abernathy Blvd Sunday afternoon! GSU’s Center Parc Stadium is on the route. If you haven’t visited the area in a while, it is worth a visit to see the lively neighborhood around the intersection of Hank Aaron and Ralph David Abernathy/Georgia Ave. Walkers, joggers and rollers are welcome, too!

We are THRILLED to announce that Athens-Clarke County Mayor Kelly Girtz will be leading a walking tour of the Prince Avenue reconfiguration pilot project. Mayor Girtz, a regular bike/walk/drive user of Prince Ave. and a career educator, will teach attendees about the advocacy, planning, and implementation challenges and victories involved with this important project.
