Reminder that our annual Drag Show is TODAY, October 24, at 7:30 pm ET! Hosted by the wonderful Pam, the show will consist of various performances from drag queens based in Atlanta and Chicago as well as a BEST DRESSED IN THE CROWD contest during intermission! Come dressed in your best drag look and strut your stuff for the chance to win a $20 prize without having to perform! We can't wait to see you!! ๐๐๐

๐With our Drag Show just two weeks away, we want to see your do-it-at-home drag looks and outfits to help you get hype!
~~Thus, we will be introducing two contests: the Anything but Makeup Challenge and the Drag Design Challenge!~~
๐1) For the Anything but Makeup Challenge, put together your favorite drag look WITHOUT using makeup! Post a picture of your look to Instagram by Oct 19 at 11:59 pm EST and tag us () for the chance to win a 3-month subscription to Ipsy's Glam Bag Plus! *Further rules listed below!
๐2) For the Drag Design Challenge, create your best drag outfit for the chance to win a Singer sewing machine! You can either go thrifting and tailor the clothes or create something from items you find around the house! Tag us on Instagram () for the chance to win! We can't wait to see your designs! *Further rules listed below!
P.S. For these contests, please spend as LITTLE AS POSSIBLE so that they can be accessible to everyone!! If you have any questions, please check the rules below and/or email [email protected]

1) Anything but Makeup Challenge Rules:
-You MUST be a student of Emory University
-You CANNOT use any makeup, that said please do not put dangerous substances on your face
-You MUST post and/or submit your costume by October 19 at 11:59 pm EST
-YOU must be the one putting the make up on either your own face or someone else's face
-You MUST post on Instagram with the look you create and tag (if you do not have an Instagram or are unable to post, send a picture to [email protected])
-We will be contacting you via Instagram or email asking for some personal information (home address or PO box) to send you the prize but we will NOT be keeping this information and once we have sent everything, we will delete all information regarding you
2) Drag Design Challenge Rules:
-The costume MUST be some form of drag, ie. a dress, skirt, suit, etc.
-You MUST post and/or submit your costume by October 19 at 11:59 pm EST
-You MUST post on Instagram with your costume and tag (if you do not have an Instagram or are unable to post, send a picture to [email protected])
-We would prefer if you didn't spend any money (we want this to be accessible to everyone); that said if you must, please spend as little as possible
-Find some clothes, or maybe cut up and sew old clothes together, to make a HAWT costume !
-In order to qualify for the contest, you must be a student of Emory University
-We will be contacting you via Instagram or email and asking for some personal information (home address or PO box) to send you the prize but we will NOT be keeping this information and once we have sent everything, we will delete all information regarding you

๐We are excited to make some announcements regarding this year's Drag Show, which will be hosted by the wonderful Pam!!
๐To compete for the cash prizes, you NO LONGER have to be associated with a student organization! There are now 3 tiers of cash prizes: first place will get $125, second place $75 and third place $50. We will also be having guest performances from local drag queens around Atlanta!
๐The show will take place on Saturday, October 24 at 7:30 pm ET through Zoom as usual, BUT that also means that you get to watch a whole drag show in your pajamas if you want!
๐If you want to participate in drag but don't want to do a whole performance, we will be continuing our BEST DRESSED IN THE CROWD contest for a $20 prize! In this tradition, you will be able to strut your stuff on camera during the intermission!
