Yes, we do take transitioning military veterans, train them in skills relevant to the tech industry and position them in second careers as programmers, IT administrators and in tech support. But we are so much more than that...We also instill in them skill sets that make them upwardly mobile in their second careers. g (Java, Python, Ruby on Rails, Linux) or IT (network administration or cyber security) or tech support (graphic artist, data analysis or project management). But a good coder will just be a good coder. To advance in the tech industry, to innovate or to become a vetrepreneur, you need other skills. So we pair the path skills with enough financial literacy, critical analysis and other development skills (our secret sauce) to make leaders … leaders with a tech specialty versus simply tech specialists. Founder with Military Background. Cassondra is a 1988 graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy. Retiring as a Commander, she enjoyed a 20-year career as an Intelligence Officer. She ran training schools at the Naval Air Technical Training Centre, supported aircrews as an Air Intel Officer at VP-10, headed the Naval Intel Shop at US Forces Korea, headed up Operations at Naval War College and ONI units and finished her career as the Navy’s Liaison to the Air Force in the Middle East in support of OEF/OIF.
