The Creative Roots Summer Institute is designed for children ages 4–10 and combines creativity, hands-on learning, outdoor exploration, character development, and Montessori-inspired experiences into one unforgettable summer.

Alhamdulillah and congratulations to Muhammad Bashir, WDMH Classof 2011, who earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Interactive and Game Development (Game Design) from SCAD (Savannah College of Art and Design).

Eid ul Adha is a reminder that every great sacrifice begins with faith, trust, and obedience to Allah.

Just as Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him) showed us that sacrifice is about mire than giving something up. It is about giving our best selves in service to what is right and pleasing to our Creator.

As educators, parents, and community members, we are honored the call to sacrifice daily through patience, learning, compassion, discipline, and care for our children and one another.

May this Eid inspire our young people to live with courage, generosity, and unwavering faith. Eid Mubarak to our entire school community.

Naeemah Ziyad, WDMH Class of 2015, earned a Master of Health Sciences degree from Meharry Medical College. Alhamdulillah as she continues her journey to serve our community through the medical field.

Ayan Warsama, WDMH Class of 2012, earned a Master of Science in Health Information degree from the Georgia State University Byrdine F. Lewis College of Nursing.

We celebrate Ayan’s continued growth and dedication to healthcare as she transitions from her impactful work as a respiratory therapist into the expanding field of health information. Her experience serving patients directly, combined with advanced knowledge in health information systems and data management, positions her to help improve the quality, efficiency, and accessibility of healthcare services.

Hasna Muhammad, WDMH Class of 2019, received her Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, with concentrations in Counseling and Urban Education from Georgia State University.
