Our hearts are heavy as we announce the passing of one of our school's great volunteers and the parent of an alum. May Allah, The Ever Present, forgive Brother Yusuf Ware for any shortcomings, bless him according to the best of his deeds, and bring comfort to the family and friends he leaves behind.

MEN OF OUR COMMUNITY, YOUR SCHOOL NEEDS YOU!
It’s time to get our school ready for another great year, and we are calling on the men of our community to SHOW UP!
Gather your sons, nephews, brothers, and young men and bring them with you. This is an opportunity to teach by example --to show our children and our sisters what it looks like for men to step forward as qawwamun: protectors, supporters, and those who take responsibility for the well-being of their families and community.
- Come for one day or all four days!
- Bring your energy, strength, skills, and willingness to serve.
- Work alongside one another to prepare a place where our children can learn, grow, and thrive.
Your presence matters. Your energy matters. Your support matters.
Let’s show our children what it means to take ownership of our school and our community.
Men, we need you. Let’s get the school ready! Together!

Every season of service leaves a lasting legacy. As several Board members complete their terms on the Board of Directors for Mohammed Schools of Atlanta, we pause to express our deepest appreciation for the time, wisdom, and dedication they have given to our K-12 school.
For the past two years, these remarkable women have helped strengthen our governance, challenged us to examine and improve our practices, fostered stronger relationships, kept us focused on implementing our strategic plan, and made thoughtful decisions that will benefit our school for years to come. Insha-Allah.
🌿 Dr. Quiana Shamsid-Deen – Thank you for your visionary leadership, thoughtful counsel, and unwavering commitment to strengthening our school community.
🌿 Fatyma Saleem – Thank you for your steady service, collaborative spirit, and dedication to advancing sound governance and organizational growth.
🌿 Haniyyah Nu'Man – Thank you for your strategic insight, organization commitment, and willingness to serve with excellence and purpose.
We also extend our heartfelt appreciation to Rasheedah Luqman, who served on the Board for a year and a half before concluding her term mid-year. Her leadership was instrumental in strengthening our financial aid policies and advancing a more equitable approach to tuition assistance, ensuring that resources are distributed with fairness and compassion.
To each of you, thank you for answering the call to serve. Your contributions have helped position Mohammed Schools for a stronger future, and we pray that your legacy will continue to bless our students, families, and community.
May Allah (SWT) reward each of you abundantly for your service, accept your efforts as an act of worship, and continue to bless you with wisdom, barakah, and success. Ameen.
