What a difference a year makes! This exact time last year we were hosting a record crowd in our showroom. We knew the virus was in China , but had no idea that by this time this year 400,000 people would be dead and the sitting president would lose his job as a result of poor handling of this killer. Last year, having flown from Paris through Kennedy to Boston just two weeks ago ..I spent three days in my hotel room , sick as a dog..perhaps CoVid? Who knows. Cuomo did say it came to New York from Europe at New Years..as did I???well at the market a year ago one of our favorite fabric suppliers said Hangzhou is shutting down next week due to the virus! Alarmed,, we rushed home and bought up as much textile as could! That happy accident saved our supply for 2020, thank God! Boy..we had no idea what was ahead. Well we’ve made it through this far , I am grateful! Well, the supply chain is still struggling, but our partners are TOPS! We are so grateful for great teamwork ! Here’s to an optimistic 2021! The vaccine is here!
