Psych Club at GT What is Psychology Club? We help members prepare for graduate school admission or the work force in a variety of ways. Why should you join Psychology Club?

The Psychology Club provides an opportunity for psychology undergraduates and other GT students interested in psychology to go beyond the lecture hall and see psychology in the “real world.” The Psychology Club provides an opportunity for psychology undergraduates and other GT students interested in psychology to go beyond the lecture hall and see psychology in the “real world.” Our purpose is to

supply information, opportunities and resources to our members that will enhance their academic career. We work to provide opportunities in volunteer work, research with faculty, informational meetings and discussions and social events. Through these, we strive to introduce our members and interested persons to the broad variety of disciplines in psychology as a science. Befriend other psychology students and get advice
Possible guest speakers, including both professors and professionals in psychology-related fields
Volunteering opportunities
Field trips

Elections for social chair and secretary will take place, and Dr. Frank Durso will be holding the first PsycHollywood movie night afterward. Hope to see you there! Tonight is the last meeting of the semester, come join us tonight at 6PM in C**n 148! New members are always welcome, and tonight we'll be finishing plans for the Final Stretch doughnuts event and working on plans for next semester. Thanks to all members for this semester, and best of luck as the semester draws to a close!

As a reminder to all Psychology students or those interested in taking any psychology classes, registration for fall is approaching! The schedule for classes went live today and it is critical that PSYCHOLOGY MAJOR students attend one of the following two ADVISING sessions with Dr. Singleton: Monday, March 14 at 5PM or Wednesday, March 16 at 2PM, both of which will be held in C**n 250. At the sessions you will receive a list of course options in Psychology for the fall, a course offering list for the next TWO YEARS, and changes that will affect students for the catalog 2016-2017 year and afterwards. Students can choose to update to the new catalog or stay with their old catalog year requirements. Remaining GT Psychology shirts will also be on sale at the sessions for $8.
