To what might have been...
Yesterday I got an email from Linkedin reminding me to congratulate you on your 2nd year Anniversary of your job with The US Air Force.

This time last year we were putting plans together for a special Thanksgiving 50th birthday bash and struggling to decide if it would be in Atlanta, Georgia or in San Antonio, Texas...certainly all roads would lead to your residence this weekend no matter what we decided. After all, you don't celebrate a 50th birthday every year.

Everyone would have been there...even little Kayode who was still warm and cosy - yet unborn.

We talked about it, argued about it, laughed about it, prayed about it and then left it to God.
Still in all things, and at all times, we give God thanks and praise. You may be gone, but you are not forgotten.

I had an awesome time earlier this month in the US. Catching up with old friends and family in Chicago, celebrating a wedding.

But the absolute best part was Atlanta and getting to see my brother's family - especially 3-month old Kayode, who I hadn't seen before.

It's 6 months today since that chilling Christmas day, but we give God thanks...

Dr Anthony's new baby son. Born today.

Praise The Lord with me. The Olonis have an addition to the family...a boy. I'm an uncle again! God is good.
