Jose had the problem a lot of career changers hit:

Courses done, skills building, still wondering if companies would take the transition seriously.

In DLCP, he started turning those skills into proof he could solve real business problems with data.

Applied for a Senior Business Analyst role on Monday “just to see.”

Called back the next day, interviewed this morning, follow-up tomorrow.

This is what happens when your work starts making the career change believable.

If you’re trying to break into data analytics and want the roadmap how FAST I used to go from delivering pizzas to landing a 100K+ role, I’ll leave it here:

My career wasn't always what you see now.

Before the students landing six-figure careers, before the program, before any of it, I was delivering pizzas at night and Amazon packages during the day making $8 an hour, wondering if I was wasting my time even trying.

So when people tell me they've been at this for months with nothing to show for it, I'm not nodding along to be polite.

I've been in that exact place.

Here's what that actually looked like for me:

1. I spent months applying to every data job I could find and heard nothing back.

2. I updated my LinkedIn so many times I lost count. Took the courses, got the certificates, checked every box I was told to check.

3. Still couldn't get a callback.

What finally changed wasn't a new course or a better resume template.

- I stopped trying to look qualified and started proving I could actually do the work.

- I built projects around real business problems.

- I learned to tell a story with data, not just run a query.

Pm- I put in the reps nobody sees before the results anybody notices.

If you're in the middle of that stretch right now, where the effort is real but the traction isn't there yet, stay in it.

That gap is where most people quit.

It's also where everything separates.

You're closer than you think.

(Repost if this helped someone you know.)

Self-study gives you the luxury of a long runway.

Job applications don't.

When you start applying, the clock starts the second a recruiter opens your profile.

Every day between that first look and a job offer is a day your competition is pulling ahead.

This is why the people who actually land roles obsess over every touchpoint between application and offer.

The portfolio project.

The resume bullet.

The LinkedIn headline.

Every single one of those moments is an opportunity to close the gap between where you are and where you want to be.

Most people treat those touchpoints as formalities.

The ones landing roles treat them as part of the hiring process.
Because they are.

Most data analyst roadmaps are outdated the moment they go live.

And the people following them don't find out until they're 6 months in.

I went from $15 an hour to six figures in data. I've helped over a thousand career changers do the same.

The number one thing that stalls people isn't effort, it's following the wrong roadmap.

Most roadmaps tell you what tools exist.

This one tells you what actually gets you hired.

There's a big difference.

Please do not become a data analyst if you think the job is just dashboards, certificates, and letting AI do the hard parts.

Real data work means asking better questions, finding the root cause, explaining messy numbers to real people, and helping leaders make decisions.

AI can support the work.

It cannot replace your judgment.

That skill comes from real practice with real problems.

If none of this scared you off, DM me ‘DATA’ and I’ll show you how I went from delivering pizzas to landing a $90K+ data analytics job without a degree or tech background.
