Excited to support another strong workforce initiative in Michigan.

BDI DataLynk is proud to partner with Monroe County Community College and the Align Center for Workforce Development to bring a 5-day Fiber Optic Accelerated Bootcamp to Adrian this June.

This is not your typical classroom training. This is a hands-on, real world program designed to take individuals with zero experience and equip them with the skills to step into the fiber workforce immediately.

Students will earn three industry recognized certifications:
• Certified Fiber Optic Technician (CFOT)
• Certified Fiber Optic Specialist in Testing (CFOS/T)
• Certified Fiber Optic Specialist in Splicing (CFOS/S)

Over the course of the week, participants will build, splice, and test fiber networks using the same equipment and processes used in the field.

With broadband demand continuing to surge across the country, programs like this are critical to closing the workforce gap and creating real career opportunities.

If you are in Michigan or know someone looking to break into the fiber industry, this is a great opportunity.

MCCC is partnering with the Align Center for Workforce Development to host a five-day Fiber Optic Accelerated Bootcamp in Adrian in June. Through this Fiber Optic Association-sanctioned bootcamp, students can acquire three certifications, and no experience is necessary.
