This past Saturday, PlantLanta was invited by to host the Plantlanta Stage at the annual Harvest Festival! 🎃

Our Director of Community Engagement, Cam, kept the vibes high as the DJ, while our PlantLanta table gave kids a fun way to learn about composting and meet our awesome volunteers!

Families were able to stop by and join in on the GREAT PUMPKIN SMASH Thanks to for providing all the pumpkins and the for putting those smashed pumpkins to good use as compost in their community garden 🌱

Big shoutout to student athletes who helped show the kids how to swing a bat and reminded everyone what it means to lend a hand in your community! 🙌

Through Plantlanta’s composting program, students learn how to turn waste into something wonderful… right at school! ♻️🍎

As part of our PSU program, students sort leftover food from lunch and breakfast, track their waste, and discover how composting helps the planet.

Cam and Kaeli are heading to Hartsfield, Connecticut to represent Plantlanta and speak on our partnership with Oakley Elementary at NCYGS 2025. The National Child & Youth Symposium is a 4-day symposium that features interactive learning sessions and field trips for educators across the United States.

We need YOUR help to get them there! Currently, we have raised $150 of our $1,500 goal. If you would like to support their journey to Connecticut, click on the link in our bio to get your Plantlanta swag or donate on our donation link. 💰

Meet our new summer intern Kaeli! She is a 3rd-Year Public Policy student at Georgia Tech and will be working with us this summer. We are so excited to see what she brings to Plantlanta! ⭐️

We just wrapped our biggest PSU season yet with back-to-back takeovers at Elementary and at Gideons Elementary, reaching over 700 students with immersive workshops in sustainability, wellness, STEAM, creativity, and leadership ⭐️

Deep gratitude to the teachers, admin, families, and our phenomenal instructors who brought every workshop to life!

We also want to say a big shoutout to Mayor and our amazing partners: , , , .connect and so many more who made this all possible.

The seeds we planted this season will grow far beyond the classroom. 🌱
