Reporting from Italy 🇮🇹 Our students are currently enjoying the Living the Mediterranean Diet and Lifestyle Study Abroad Program in Florence!
In the pictures our students are cooking a whole meal from scratch, including an appetizer, dessert and fresh pasta 🍝
Then, they visited a primary school, where they learned all about their food service and nutrition systems!
We wish them a wonderful time!

Honoring a legacy of leadership, mentorship, and care 💙
The Department of Nutrition is proud to share the establishment of the Kathy Taylor Scholarship, created in memory of a remarkable dietitian whose impact continues to shape the future of our field.
Through her work at Grady Health System and her dedication to mentoring students at Georgia State University, Kathy Taylor championed patient care and helped advance the role of dietitians in meaningful ways.
This scholarship, now available through the Georgia Dietetic Foundation, will support students in Georgia State's Coordinated Program as they pursue careers in nutrition and dietetics.
Those who wish to honor Kathy’s legacy can contribute through the link below and in bio by selecting “Donate in Someone’s Name” and entering Kathy Taylor.
