She has held multiple leadership roles across Intel and previously worked at The Coca-Cola Company as a Software Engineering Manager. Karenga is passionate about building impactful technologies, fostering collaboration, and inspiring the next generation of engineers.

Congratulations to AI4OPT researcher Asal Roudbari on earning a Best Poster Award at the recent Shriners–Georgia Tech event for her collaborative work with Shriners Children’s.
The project applies AI to improve personalized risk assessment and clinical decision-making for adolescent idiopathic scoliosis, with the goal of helping clinicians act faster and improving outcomes for children and families. We’re proud of this continued collaboration and its growing impact in pediatric healthcare.

AI4OPT’s Pascal Van Hentenryck recently visited Australia to share his expertise at two major events: AI: The Hope and the Hype, hosted by the Royal Society of New South Wales, and a discussion with the Electrification and Energy Systems Network at the University of New South Wales.
His talks explored how artificial intelligence and optimization are driving innovation in energy systems, infrastructure, and beyond.
