We belong together as Shamrock Dragons. A 1970s multi-year reunion gathering of classmate friends including teachers and faculty is a wonderful time to catch up with each other! Your reunion committee is excited to organize this event!
The date is set! Make sure April 24th, 2027, 6pm to 9pm. at The 57th Fighter Group Restaurant, Atlanta, GA, is on your calendar. We are taking over a large portion of the restaurant and we’re next to the airfield. The event is designed for those students, faculty and teachers who were at Shamrock High School, DeKalb County, GA during the 1970s (years 1968 (beginning at Druid Hills High) to 1984). We especially want to celebrate the 50th class reunion for the 1976 and 1977 graduating classes.

Now for some great news! We’ve enhanced the www.shamrockdragons.com website! There you can find the latest information about the event, forward us your contact information (if you have not already let Doc Palmer know about your contact info - it’s always confidential!), help us make registration affordable by pledging a sponsorship, sign up to help at the event, ask questions or share a story when you were at SHS. Ricky Clotfelter '76 passed away this morning after battling diabetes. Arrangements will be conveyed by his family later.

Dragons, I am sad to post that former SHS Coach Clint Flanagan has passed away.

In the early days of the Collins Hill High School football program, Clint Flanagan was a frequent observer at practices.

Dragons, I am beginning to post the reunion group pictures and others on this page. If you attended the reunion, I will send you a copy of your class picture and a few other things from the reunion via your email soon. We are in the process of mopping up the emails and contacts when you checked in. I appreciate your patience. Thanks to Mike Hicks (74), Cyndi Fisher Hicks (74) and Scott Andrews (80) for organizing and taking the pictures.

Here is one of the first memories that I have at SHS. Before school started each year, lower classes got their schedules and ran around the halls practicing getting to their next class. It was complete with the bell and super intimidating at first! While I was navigating, Coy Cofer approached me with questions about who I was and if I needed any help with my schedule. He explained that one of his printed elevator passes for 25 cents would be most helpful. I think I paid it and quickly became an instant joke with Coy and the rest of his buddies. All in good fun! I bet you have many memorable recounts of your years at The Rock. Come to the reunion and share them! Registration is growing at over 135 alumni and faculty.
