Hiiii guys!!💛 I’m Asfa Karim (), and I genuinely cannot believe I’m graduating from Georgia Tech in just 8 days… it doesn’t feel real at all.
Today is my LAST day ever as a Georgia Tech student, and also my final sign-off as your Digital Media Student Assistant for 🤧 this chapter has meant everything to me. From my very first day on campus to now, this journey has shaped me in ways I’ll carry forever!
I’m so excited (and a little emotional 🥺) to take you guys along with me today for our closing bell ceremony… one last full-circle moment before I say goodbye to this version of my life🎓
Feel free to drop any questions you have about my time at Tech!! I’d love to share everything I’ve learned before I sign off.
Go Jackets forever 🐝💛

Hello! My name is Will (), and I am a fourth-year AE student from Barnesville, GA.
Through my time at Georgia Tech, I have been involved with several organizations, such as , , , and .gt. These allowed me to meet so many wondertul people, learn so many things, and make so many memories. also completed a co-op at Delta Air Lines, where I had the opportunity to serve as president of the co-op development committee and connect with other students from schools all over the country!
One cool thing about my time at Georgia Tech is that I have been able to compete in the Mini 500 race three times during my four years. The silliness of racing other students on a much too small tricycle perfectly embodies the fun and whimsy of college (and is a great reminder to not take things too seriously!)
My advice to incoming students is to build your extracurricular involvement around things that interest you, even if you haven’t done them before. It can be a bit scary at first, but college is the best time to try new things and explore your interests. Also, take lots of pictures so you can look back on all the fun memories!🐝

Hello everyone! My name is Annie Laster (), a 4th-year industrial engineering major and Spanish minor with the International Plan designation. I’m originally from Atlanta, GA.
At Tech, I am involved in Outdoor Recreation Georgia Tech (.crc), where I lead trips rappelling down waterfalls and backpacking in some of the prettiest places in the country! I’m also involved in tour guides (), women’s club volleyball (), College of Engineering Ambassadors, and study abroad peer advisors ().
Outside of school activities, I love to bike long distances, read, follow college football, and travel around the world. I’ve studied abroad twice while at Tech: an exchange to PUC Santiago in Chile, and an internship in Mexico City, Mexico. On the professional side, I have been a Supply Chain co-op with Clorox.
My best advice for incoming students is to say yes to as many different opportunities as possible! No other time in your life do you have such a wealth of experiences to try, people to meet, and things to learn, so take advantage of it all. No experience is ever wasted!
