Holocaust survivor, Ben Walker, shared a powerful testimony with our Middle School students. Mr. Walker courageously recounted the harrowing experiences of his survival during and after World War II, shedding light on the resilience and strength of the human spirit. Middle school students took part in an educational activity in which they inscribed the names of Shoah victims onto stones. These stones will be displayed at a Holocaust memorial, serving as a tangible tribute and a powerful reminder of the individuals lost during the Holocaust.

Throughout this week, Davis students have been participating in beautiful, creative, delicious, and entertaining Seders. Our Lower School model Seders are a tradition going back to the earliest days of Davis and, over the years, have evolved to reflect different themes and aspects of Passover. Students proudly demonstrate their Jewish and Hebrew learning and indulge in special holiday experiences and treats, including searching for the afikoman and devouring chocolate-covered Matzah. Thank you to all the teachers and parent volunteers who made the Seders extra special! Chag Pesach Sameach!
