Peachtree Childtown is a Christian School for young children in the heart of Midtown Atlanta.

Conveniently located at the corner of Peachtree Street and Spring Street in Peachtree Christian Church, Childtown offers a high quality, Christian, full-day learning program for children ages 6 weeks to five years, including children with special needs. We have low ratios of children to teachers and our learning experiences are based on the HighScope curriculum.

Peachtree Childtown is now officially closed and deeply missed. Best of luck and THANK YOU to the teachers, staff and families that contributed to make it the special home-away-from-home for some many kids over 15 years.

Peachtree Childtown has a wonderful climbing wall that the kids have come to love. It was donated by the parents as part of the end-of-the-year fundraising a couple of years ago. A new one costs around 4,000$ including shipping (https://funandfunction.com/wee-kidz-traverse-climbing-wall.html ; 6"x20" ). If you know of a daycare or gym that could be interested in buying it used, it is in perfect conditions. All proceeds will go to the teachers' Loving Fund (501c3). The wall is modular (6"x4" each module) and can be sold in modules.

After 15 years, an amazing daycare in Midtown Atlanta, Peachtree Childtown, is closing. Amazingly, being Childtown a ministry of the Church these same dedicated teachers have no unemployment benefits. None. Peachtree Childtown is a nonprofit with very limited reserves. Even though they've devoted years of their lives to serving Childtown and hundreds of kids and families, they’re now left with a meager severance package that is far, far less than what they deserve. It’s wrong.
But we have a chance to make it right.
Together, we can let our Childtown teachers know how much they mean to us and to our children. We can show them they can count on us, no matter what. We can make them feel safe, the way they’ve made us feel safe all these years. In short, we can give these thirty desperate families a Christmas miracle.
It’s in our hands now. Let’s show our support for this little community and their mission by making a donation, big or small. Our initial goal is to raise $40,000 to give to them in equal shares. Think of it as a final Christmas gift to these wonderful, deserving people, a way to acknowledge how much we truly owe them.
We’re all busy this time of year. There are so many good causes out there. But this group is truly special and has done so much for so many of our children and families. Let's give them something back: some peace of mind for this Holiday season.
We hope you’ll join in and tell your friends and neighbors!
Donate by Dec. 31 for your 2016 tax credit too.
Donations in cash or check are accepted at Childtown, or electronically through
