I disappeared from Instagram again. As always, I have so many ideas in my head but so little time because we’ve officially added our third tiny human to the mix. The boy:girl ratio in this house is now 4:1, but I wouldn’t have it any other way!

It actually sounds more like, "I'm boooorrrrredddddd" at our house. 🤨 These two words make me feel so many feelings. Frustration, that he can't possibly find anything to do with so. many. freaking. toys. Guilt, because a good parent wouldn't allow their child to be bored, right? Annoyance, because I'm trying to get my own to-do list done. ⁠⠀

For some inexplicable reason, we are led to think that boredom is bad for children, and that it reflects negatively on our success as parents. ⁠⠀
