Odyssey Atlanta

Odyssey is an academic summer enrichment program for 1st-12th grade Atlanta Public School students.

Odyssey is an educational non-profit organization partnering with the Atlanta Public Schools to serve students in grades 1-12 from economically disadvantaged communities. Odyssey's academic enrichment program focuses on students with unmet potential, preparing them for high school graduation and supporting them on their path to college. We're excited to celebrate more Odyssey scholars as they begin the next chapter of their journeys at North Carolina A&T State University, Elon University, and Kennesaw State University.

Whether they're starting their first semester or returning for another year, we're proud of all they have accomplished and look forward to supporting them along the way.

It's always heartwarming to see Odyssey alumni settling into a new semester and embracing the opportunities ahead.

These snapshots represent years of hard work, perseverance, and growth. From move-in day to the first weeks of classes, we're proud to watch our alumni continue pursuing their goals, expanding their horizons, and writing the next chapter of their stories.

This summer, Odyssey scholars explored the future of technology from a whole new perspective.

Through a live drone demonstration led by Andy Altizer at The Westminster Schools, rising 9th–11th grade scholars learned about drone technology, safety and security applications, FAA certification, and emerging career pathways.

For some students, the highlight was getting the chance to take the controls themselves.

What started as a demonstration became a hands-on opportunity to explore the intersection of technology, aviation, and future careers.

The fall semester is underway, and Odyssey alumni are settling into residence halls, classrooms, and new opportunities on college campuses near and far.

This fall, we're proud to cheer on Odyssey graduates continuing their journeys at institutions including Fort Valley State University, Howard University, Georgia Tech, Morehouse College, and others.

For Odyssey, the journey doesn't end at high school graduation. We continue walking alongside our alumni as they navigate college, access resources and support, and prepare for the careers and opportunities ahead.

Odyssey is seeking technology leaders, engineers, AI professionals, entrepreneurs, and innovators to join our Technology Advisory Council as we begin our second year.

A special thank you to Cox Enterprises for once again partnering with Odyssey to assemble Snack Packs and STEAM kits for our scholars.

The hands-on STEAM kit activities encourage creativity, problem-solving, and exploration while helping students discover new interests and possibilities for the future.

We're grateful for your continued support of Odyssey scholars.

A big thank you to GreenSky for showing up for Odyssey scholars in more ways than one this summer.

From serving as judges for our Shark Tank-style pitch competition to assembling snack packs for students, the GreenSky team helped create meaningful experiences that inspired and supported our scholars.
