From the classroom to the other side of the world. 🌍💉
Pretty surreal seeing former student Dr. Jordan Truby connecting with Program Director and VP of the Council on Accreditation, all the way in Australia at the 15th World Congress of Nurse Anaesthetists.
One of the best parts of this profession is watching the next generation grow into leaders, educators, and global representatives of nurse anesthesia. Proud moment seeing Emory represented on an internationally. 🇦🇺

Excellence in nurse anesthesia education requires depth, rigor, and innovation.
Our SRNAs are exposed to a broad range of advanced concepts and procedural skills throughout their training including point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS), an increasingly valuable tool in modern anesthesia practice.
We’re grateful for community partners like Eddie Thomas who help bring additional expertise into the learning environment and enrich the educational experience of our students. Opportunities like these reflect our commitment to preparing knowledgeable, adaptable, and highly skilled clinicians who will continue to strengthen the CRNA profession.

One of the best ways to solidify your knowledge is to teach it.
Our third year SRNAs had the chance to work with Acute Care Pediatric and Adult NP students in a hands-on educational session focused on collaborative learning and skill development.
We’re proud to see our students continuing to grow not only in clinical excellence, but also in confidence, leadership, and service to others.
