When searching for a recovery residence or sober living environment, there are several things to keep in mind. Not all recovery residences are created equal. Safety Net is a recovery residence that is certified by Georgia Association of Recovery Residences (G.A.R.R.) which means it meets or exceeds standards set by G.A.R.R. They are certified by the Georgia Addiction Counselors Association (G.A.C.A.). They are members of the National Association of Addiction Treatment Providers (N.A.A.T.P.) the National Association of Recovery Residences (N.A.R.R.) and The National Association for Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors (N.A.A.D.A.C.). They take part in continuing education programs required by the above associations.
There are recovery residences popping up all over the Atlanta Metro area, but do they have these certifications? This is an extremely important time for men in early recovery. It is important to make sure you choose a recovery residence that will provide the best services available. Safety Net has been helping men in their recovery since August 2009. Their reputation is stellar. The staff at Safety Net truly wants you to be successful in your knew life in recovery. Give yourself the best chance to succeed.
One of the many success stories from a client:
“My experience at Safety Net Recovery has been unbelievable. Steve Herndon and Taylor Hagin show the love and honest desire to give back what was so freely given to them. When the times got tough, Steve, Taylor, Dex, Chuck, and Grant got tougher. Where they could have turned their back, they didn’t.
I’ve found and made some life long friends that I never planned on making. Being a veteran 3/4 way resident, Safety Net was the most positive experience. They don’t just talk the talk, they walk the walk. Thank you guys so much.”
Your friend for life, PW
