📚👏 Congratulations to our very own Bert Capps, who will serve as Creekside Christian Academy's Middle School Assistant Principal for the 2026-2027 school year!

Mr. Capps has been published in the State of Georgia Social Studies Journal for his article, "Teaching the Whole Child Through Living History: Experiential Learning in the History Classroom."

Drawing on his passion for history and student engagement, Mr. Capps explores how experiential learning helps students move beyond memorization to develop historical thinking, empathy, and a deeper understanding of the people and events that shaped our world. Through hands-on living history experiences, students are challenged to engage intellectually, emotionally, and actively with the past.

This publication reflects Mr. Capps' dedication to educational excellence and his commitment to creating meaningful learning experiences that inspire students to think critically, ask questions, and connect with history in powerful ways.
