Creekside Christian Academy proudly dropped off about 25 pounds of soda tabs to the Ronald McDonald House! 🏠❤️

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who took the time to donate these tabs. Your small gestures make a big difference! These tabs help pay for cancer treatment for the children staying at the house, ensuring they receive the care they need. Support of this cause also helps Ronald McDonald House provide stays at no or very low cost to families who are in need of it.

By continuing this effort, we’re making a positive impact in the lives of these brave children and their families. 💖

📢Mission Trip Update - MEXICO

June 25th- July 2nd, 14 of our incredible Creekside Christian Academy baseball students and four amazing adult chaperones embarked on a transformative journey to Mérida, Mexico. For 1 week, they spread happiness and inspiration in the Mayan villages of Tahdzibichèn and Tixcacaltuyub on the Yucatán Peninsula through sportsmanship, tenacity and faith.

🎤 They've shared powerful testimonies that touched hearts and brought smiles to many faces, sharing their favorite bible verses and spreading the message of Jesus.

Our team athletes didn't just stop there! They also hosted engaging baseball ⚾️ clinics for local children, fostering a love for the sport and creating unforgettable memories. The smiling faces in this post show evidence towards the fun that was had!

📚 Education was a big focus too! They visited elementary and middle schools, leaving behind lessons in sportsmanship and the importance of community.

And of course, they soaked up the local culture by taking in delicious local cuisine and taking a refreshing dip 🏊‍♂️ in the stunning Cenotes, exploring underground wonders.

Plus, they were honored with an invitation to lead a basketball 🏀 clinic after a successful baseball session at an elementary school.

Despite challenges like unexpected and a completely unusual amount of rainfall and flooding, their resilience and positivity shone through, making a lasting impact on everyone they met.

Pastor Bob Rossiter had this to say about the trip: "The CCA baseball had a great missions trip to Mérida, Yucatán. The team came along side Jeff Carney and Reach Ministries. They led baseball clinics in the villages, laid a concrete floor in the batting cage at Reach Ministries Radio Property, and the team went into the schools to run baseball clinics and share the gospel. We all had a great time and we are looking forward to see how the Lord blesses their labor."

Stay tuned for more mission trips in the future and how Creekside continues to inspire and uplift around the world. 🌍

to a heartwarming tradition at Creekside Christian Academy: decorating graduation caps with love and memories! 🎓✨

Seniors like Izzy Pate ('24) make their graduation caps not just a symbol of accomplishment, but a cherished keepsake filled with gratitude and inspiration.

Here's Izzy's beautiful story behind her cap:

"My why behind my Grad cap was that I wanted it to be sentimental. I could take it with me to school as an encouragement when things get hard and as a memory of high school and who helped me get to this point in my life. I had people who have impacted my life and have made it possible for me to be where I am today sign my grad cap. I had two CCA staff members sign my grad cap and many close church members sign it.
I had one of my High School teachers Mrs. Skelton, who I have had as my math teacher for three years sign my grad cap first. I wanted her to be my first because I enjoyed her class so so much and she always pushed me to work harder on math even though I’m not the best at it. My favorite thing that she has taught me is to “never give up” in all things I do Whether it’s following the Lord, ordinary everyday things, and even school. I will miss her class so much. Asking her to sign my grad cap will be a moment I will cherish always.
I also got Mrs. Clark to sign my grad cap. I chose Mrs. Clark because she always made me feel loved and heard when I saw her. She always would listen when I would vent to her about stuff going on in my life and that was really needed! She would always give the best advice when I needed it most. Forever thankful for them. And that is the story behind my graduation cap! CCA will always and forever be home to me! Thank You💙"

Thank you, Izzy, for sharing your touching journey and reminding us of the deep connections and love that make CCA truly special. 🌟💙

🇬🇧 Check out a few highlight shots, courtesy of Mr. Bert Capps, from our students' once-in-a-lifetime trip abroad!

London is a city where the echoes of history resonate through ancient streets and artifacts. Our students are learning a ton being immersed in the culture!

Fun fact: A door in one of these photos is 400 years older than when Columbus sailed to the Americas. No, that's not a typo. It's seriously that old!

📸 Trip Highlights so far: Abraham Lincoln Statue, England’s Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, George Handel’s, Queen Elizabeth I, Chaucer’s grave, Tower of London, The Tower Bridge, The Crown Jewels, Churchill War Rooms, London Eye, Windsor Castle, St. George’s Chapel, Piccadilly Circus, and Paddington Station.

"The Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore." Psalm 121:8

We pray 🙏 for continued safe travels and God’s guidance every step of the way, and a safe trip home!

Congratulations to Justin Paniagua on his commitment to play baseball at Shorter University! 🏆⚾️

This is a fantastic achievement, and we can't wait to see you shine on the field.
