Marine Biology students took their learning beyond the classroom to explore the University of Georgia's Marine Extension Service on Skidaway Island! From studying oyster physiology and plankton content to surveying biodiversity in the salt marsh, they gained hands-on experience in marine ecology. Students also ventured to Wassaw Island, a barrier island and wildlife refuge, to study beach ecosystems.

Our Middle School students had the opportunity to experience Asian culture today through dynamic performances! They enjoyed Tinikling, a traditional Filipino dance presented by the Georgia Tech Filipino Student Association, as well as the Fan Dance and Ribbon Dance performed by the Atlanta Chinese Dance Company. To conclude the event, students and staff had the chance to join in and learn the dances themselves!
