In this basketball game called "LIFE", I personally and professionally know what it takes to build a successful basketball program, and develop student-athletes' careers on and off the court...academically, athletically, socially, and spiritually! I AM A FIRM BELIEVER IN THESE PRINCIPLES! Academically, I will make sure MJHS student-athletes (players) get on the right track and stay on the right track by taking ownership of their academic and athletic futures. THE TIME IS NOW!!! Our student-athletes will graduate from MJHS and become productive young men in today’s challenging society by staying focused on and off the basketball court. It’s mandatory for our student-athletes to attend all classes, study hall, tutoring sessions and take advantage of MJHS first class educational opportunity sitting in front of them, and to never shortchange their academic and athletic futures. Athletically, I have coached at a very high level, and experienced winning conference championships with NCAA, NIT, & CIT tournament berths and looking forward to doing the same at MJHS. As the new Head Boys Basketball Coach, I have a committed and winning mentality to achieving academic, athletic, social, emotional, and spiritual success! as a basketball family! We will place a strong emphasis on our individual and team workouts, conditioning, and weight-lifting programs, as well as team work, team building, team chemistry, team meetings, functions, study hall, tutoring sessions, and community service initiatives and projects. Good character and self-discipline is a “MUST” in our program, while student-athletes develop into well-rounded young adults and beyond. Our goal is to compete for the GHSA Region 6-AAAAA and State Championships on an annual basis! However, parental involvement, participation and community support are much needed and will be a “PRIORITY” in our program at MJHS. IT'S VERY IMPORTANT TO KNOW!!! "I will never ask my student-athletes (players) to do anything that I have not done academically, athletically, socially, and spiritually",
