KRCS LIFERS: 12
Twelve members of the Class of 2026 are recognized as “Lifers” for attending KRCS from kindergarten through graduation. These students are: Caroline Caudill, Isabel Davis, Cooper Dearth, Annalisa Farrar, Sophia French, Walker Harris, Ryan Hudson, Drake Jacobi, Cassidy McGinty, Thomas Preter, Stella Slocum, and William Smith.

COLLEGE APPLICATIONS | ADMITTANCE
The Class of 2026 submitted 375 applications to 130 colleges in 34 U.S. states, Canada, England, Scotland, and Wales. 30% applied to private colleges, while 70% applied to public colleges.
Students gained admission to several of the nation’s most selective colleges, with acceptance rates below 15%, including Emory University, New York University, Northeastern University, Tulane University, University of Virginia, and Wake Forest University.
Students were also accepted to other highly selective colleges, with acceptance rates below 35%, such as Auburn University, Baylor University, Clemson University, Colgate University, Colorado School of Mines, Elon University, Fordham University, Furman University, Georgia Institute of Technology, North Carolina State University, Purdue University, Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, University of Florida, University of Georgia, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, University of Miami, University of South Carolina, University of Tennessee, University of Wisconsin-Madison, and Wofford College.
SCHOLARSHIPS | ATHLETICS | FINE ARTS
As of May 1, 2026, the Class of 2026 has earned over $5.9 million in scholarships.
This class includes:
One National Merit Scholarship Finalist, Shaw Branch.
Three National Merit Scholarship Commended Students, Annalisa Farrar, Tori Getz, and Nora Michaelis.
One United States Presidential Scholar Candidate, Sophia French.
22% of the senior class has been admitted to collegiate honors programs.
16% will participate in collegiate athletics, and 10% will attend fine arts programs.
